The University of Wisconsin-Extension Division of Continuing Education, Outreach & E-Learning (CEOEL) developed an open-source media content delivery player for online courses titled Storybook+ player. Storybook+ allows students to access online content in granular chunks using a wide array of assets, including, but not limited to, videos, animation, audio narration, graphics, interactive simulations, and quizzes. We believe these features give instructors the flexibility to curate content and present materials in a meaningful and pedagogically sound manner. Our presentation will dive into the Storybook+ player, how we have used it in practice among our programs, and design considerations when using the tool in your own online learning environment.
