Mini-lecture
These media elements cover a wide array of topics and academic concepts. A Mini-lecture may be focused in nature or it may touch on concepts at a high-level. The most effective Mini-lectures tend to address pain points or main topics in the lesson material. Often, Mini-lectures are complementary to book material, OERs and/or text-based commentaries. They are rarely the primary vehicle for delivering content.
When creating Mini-lectures, we encourage you to include your perspective as a way to provide additional support to improve the learner’s ability to grasp concepts.
