It is important to respect copyright law when creating content for your courses with UW Extended Campus. When you create an online course, you are reproducing and publishing content. This is different from how content is used in a classroom. As such, we recommend reviewing the copyright policies outlined by UW System and UW-Madison when assessing copyright and the use of materials in our courses.
